CSR Activity in the Past

A snap shot of the Valenzuela City Action Center

CSR Activity 2014

Metro Alliance extended a helping hand in social and civic activities within the community where it operates instead of monetary donations.  On the other hand, it wishes to donate financially to its chosen charities if its financial conditions become stable.

When the typhoon Yolanda (“Haiyan”) hit the Visayan region in the Philippines, people around the world made their initiatives to help and so are Metro Alliance’s officers and employees.

Below are some of the photos taken during the re-packing of relief goods for the survivor of the typhoon at the Valenzuela City Action Center last November 14, 2013.

Bahay Pag-asa ng Valenzuela

The center as supervised by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), housed juvenile delinquents who have committed crimes within the city instead of having them sent to congested and overcrowded mainstream prisons.

The 650-square meter Bahay Pag-asa is located at R. Jacinto St., Canumay West, Valenzuela City.  The building boasted a Mediterranean villa-styled architectural design and featured facilities such as segregated sleeping quarters for boys and girls, a dining hall a prayer room, several isolation rooms and round-the-clock security cameras among others.

The center offers various programs for rehabilitation, such as education, spiritual healing, among others that are geared towards eventual re-integration of the children in confflict with the law (CICL) to their families and to the community.
